To whom it may concern,
I am pleased to have studied at Sevilla for a period of 10 weeks commencing January 2007. In this time I managed to grow as a student from near beginner to advanced in both comprehension and use of the language.
I arrived in Antigua without any prior knowledge of the individual language schools and spent my first day walking around the town making enquiries at all schools I came across (more than a dozen!).
What immediately impressed me with Sevilla was the physical layout of the school with a beautiful inviting courtyard and a fantastic location (next to great cafes, restaurants and near a gym!). Upon meeting with and chatting with the staff I was impressed by their professionalism, knowledge and manner and immediately knew this was the school for me.
I would not hesitate to recommend Sevilla (or Antigua for that matter) to anybody considering studying the language. In the 10 weeks I stayed in Antigua I never once felt envy of other language schools nor regretted my decision to choose Sevilla. The service and atmosphere was absolute first class from start to finish, the price represented great value for money and the student activities and interaction was forever memorable.
I’m happy to be contacted should a prospective student have any enquiries or require further details of my experience.
Sincerely

I arrived at Sevilla having taken three weeks of Spanish Class beforehand, and therefore with a very basic level of speech and comprehension. After 9 weeks of classes here, four hours daily, I had achieved a sufficient level of Spanish to find paid employment in the Guatemalan national office of a well known international NGO. The teachers here are a friendly, integrated group who immediately made me feel at ease and gave me every opportunity to practice my Spanish. They have time, patience and energy and every teacher I chose to work with allowed me to study at my own pace and in my own style. I am more than happy to recommend Sevilla to anyone looking for a Spanish school, for whatever purpose, and hope that you will not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have about my experience there.

Study Spanish in Guatemala!
At relatively short notice I had decided to learn Spanish during my vacation. As no other country in Central and South America offers this extraordinary variety of culture and climate zones on smallest area I opted for Guatemala.
Thanks to internet it was very simple finding a Spanish school in Antigua Guatemala and I decided for "Sevilla” Antigua Guatemala". I could select the hours per day and booked, via internet, classes for 6 weeks, from 8 o'clock to 12 o'clock.
I did very much appreciate the school and still do. I chose to work with three different teachers, and found them all to be deeply engaged in giving you the best chances to progress in your spanish skills.
Talking with the teachers I learned a lot about the historical and cultural background of Guatemala. And by the way, I progressed very much in my Spanish skills.
The school offers many leisure-time facilities and helps you in getting to know Antigua and the surrounding countryside. Furthermore the school has its own internet access and, very important, a well filled coffee pot!! Further advantages of Sevilla Antigua are the accommodations. Via Sevilla you can also book the accommodation when you book your classes, is it in a Guatemalan family, where only Spanish is spoken, in the student accommodation, or in the hotel.
The only risk with this journey consists of being caught by the charm of Guatemala and its inhabitants, which happened to me. For about a year I live in Antigua with my wife, an Antigueña, to whom I became acquainted during my vacations. Thus take care!
