After 9 weeks of classes here, four hours daily, I had achieved a sufficient level of Spanish to find paid employment in the Guatemalan national office of a well known international NGO. The teachers here are a friendly, integrated group who immediately made me feel at ease and gave me every opportunity to practice my Spanish. They have time, patience and energy and every teacher I chose to work with allowed me to study at my own pace and in my own style.
